    Gill Champion has over 25 years of executive experience in global entertainment, marketing, retail and licensing industries. Prior to joining POW! Entertainment, he was Chief Operating Officer of Stan Lee Media Inc. from July 1999 until it terminated operation in June 2001. 


From June 2001 until the formal creation of POW! Entertainment in November 2001, Mr. Champion worked to form POW! Entertainment and start the development of various entertainment properties.  Previous to Stan Lee Media Inc., he had been Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Mirage Holdings, Inc.  Prior to that, Mr. Champion was Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of American CinemaStores, Inc., a public company that operated location based retail outlets specializing in licensing products from television studios and networks which included an extensive apparel division that created designs and marketing strategies for Baywatch and Forrest Gump.


Mr. Champion began his career as a casting agent and has exceptional depth and experience in television and motion picture production and technology.  He was the executive in charge of Faerie Tale Theatre with Shelley Duvall while Vice President of Gaylord Productions.  He was the Producer for Fort Apache the Bronx with Paul Newman, for which he won the Producer of the Year Award.  In addition, he was in charge of the productions The Shining and The Boys from Brazil, while Vice President of the Producers Circle Company.
